竹炭素有“黑鉆石”的美譽(yù)，在國(guó)際上被譽(yù)為“二十一世紀(jì)環(huán)保新衛(wèi)士”。是取毛竹為原料，采用了純氧高溫及氮?dú)庾韪粞訒r(shí)的煅燒新工藝和新技術(shù)，使得竹炭天生具有的微孔更細(xì)化和蜂窩化，然后再與具有蜂窩狀微孔結(jié)構(gòu)趨勢(shì)的聚酯改性切片熔融紡絲而制成的。該纖維最大的與眾不同之處，就是每一根竹炭纖維都呈內(nèi)外貫穿的蜂窩狀微孔結(jié)構(gòu)。這種獨(dú)特的纖維結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)，能使竹炭所具有的功能100%的發(fā)揮出來(lái)。 將竹子經(jīng)過(guò)800度高溫干燥炭化工藝處理后，形成竹炭。
竹炭的物理化學(xué)性質(zhì)
片炭含水率5%～8%,顆粒炭含水率14%～18%; 固定碳含量85%～88%; 灰分含量2%～4%; 比表面積300～600m2/g; 揮發(fā)分6%～8%; 干碳熱值30000～33000kJ/kg: pH值8～9; 氣干密度0.800～1.320/cm3。
竹炭纖維具有的主要性能是：
超強(qiáng)的吸附力：竹炭吸附能力是木炭的5倍以上，對(duì)甲醛、苯、甲苯、氨等有害物質(zhì)和粉塵能發(fā)揮吸收、分解異味和消臭的作用。例如：普通粘膠纖維的氨去除率只有17.4%，而竹炭粘膠纖維的氨去除率達(dá)到54%。
